I am a Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science student studying at the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University.
Growing up in Raleigh, North Carolina, I was always a maker at heart and took up every opportunity to get my hands on new projects. After finding FIRST robotics, I quickly became obsessed with robotics and automation, learning Java and C++ while developing skills in CAD (Solidworks, Onshape, AutoCAD) and manufacturing.
After graduating from the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in 2022, I began my undergraduate career at the University of Pennsylvania before making the decision to continue my education at Duke University.
From spending the past four years as a Test Engineering Intern at Blue Origin, a Research and Development Engineering Intern at Farmers Foundry, or and a Computer Engineering Intern at MOTIV Motorsport to working on the Powertrain Development at Penn Electric Racing or on the Avionics and Payload Subteams at Duke AERO, I enjoyed learning new skills, homing old techniques, and meeting interesting people every step of the way.
